Tomii Cycles x SimWorks' Second Collaboration is the Farwest Grip

About a year has passed since the Faraway Tire, developed in the previous SimWorks x Tomii Cycles collaboration.
The tire, adorned with motifs of cacti, canyons, and a full moon illuminating the expansive wilderness without obstruction, became one of SimWorks' biggest news in 2025 and undoubtedly one of our bestsellers.

While tire tread patterns are typically designed with road conditions in mind, considering grip and rolling resistance, leading to a practical and function-focused design, filtering it through Nao Tomii's motto of "Build Fun Bikes!" ensures that it becomes something enjoyable while still maintaining functionality. From his "Build Fun Bikes!" spirit, the Farwest Grip was born as the second collaboration between SimWorks and Tomii Cycles.

Speaking of unique grips, Austin is the mecca of BMX. There are grips conceived by BMX manufacturers and signature models of pro riders residing in Austin. Nao's home in Austin is actually a paradise for grip development. Because of the repeated testing in such a place, the comfort of the grip is guaranteed. It has a slightly thicker grip and uses a compound that provides excellent grip. We focused not only on its cute appearance but also on the feel of the grip itself.

While race-spec and functional items have their merits, we believe that products brimming with such fun and creativity are equally important.
