SIMWORKS Short Fender
We opened up some old drawings that had been sleeping in the warehouse and breathed new life into them. A stripped-down piece of aluminum looks great on a classic touring bike or a mud-loving cyclocross bike. This is the SimWorks x Honjo Koken short fender.
Modeled after the traditional short fenders that protected equipment in European races from the 1930s to 1950s, craftsmen carefully deep-bend a single piece of aluminum. The overall length is intentionally designed to be short, precisely blocking splashes and dirt only from reaching the brake calipers, head tube, and around the fork.
As was once loved by bike hunters, it avoids the risk of full fenders getting clogged with mud, leaves, and pebbles, and also makes it easier to handle when transporting or loading onto a carrier.It is fixed at one point with a dovetail metal fitting, so it can be easily attached and detached as needed.
Two finishes are available: the tortoiseshell patterned "Turtle" and the beautifully curved "Smooth." The lineup includes four models in two colors, each designed to fit each tire width. These fenders offer solid protection without compromising the appearance of your beloved vehicle. Combining aesthetics and practicality, these fenders are now back, inspired by the past and the present.
