A simple and beautiful light mount for Rod Steward

SHOVEL RESEARCH is a small machining factory run by Portland-based SAL that produces high-quality designs to meet niche demands in the motorcycle industry.

When you're on a bike adventure with a large front bag, you need a light to illuminate your destination. The Rod Steward holds the bag nicely and is the perfect mount for a hub tie down light or rechargeable light.

for NITTO

This is the same simple light mount, but it is designed to be attached to the 7mm diameter Nitto adjustable rack struts. It cannot be used on racks with welded stays on both ends, as the mount cannot be inserted.

The light mount includes a machined clip, a 20mm M5 bolt, and a dual-threaded standoff. The M5 side secures the clip to the rack strut, and the M6 side is used to mount the light. With a button-head M6 bolt, both bolts are tightened with a 4mm hex wrench, which is very comfortable.
