NITTO x Circles Mod177 Noodle Bar
Nitto's signature Mod 177 is a drop bar that is loved all over the world and known as the Noodle Bar. Its bar shape will make even riders who already love drop bars fall in love with it even more, and it is an excellent drop bar that will capture the hearts of even riders who are a little hesitant about drop bars.
Noodle bars may be the most comfortable drop bars for any cyclist. Their shape features a flat top section that sweeps back slightly toward the rider, bringing the bars closer, and the drops (bottom) flare out 4 degrees. But the key is the ramp just behind the bars, where the brake levers fit. Many riders place their hands there, so if the ramp is too steep, they lack support and their hands can slide forward or down. While most bars have a slope of about 24 to 32 degrees, Noodle bars have a slope of 15 degrees. When tilted properly, the ends of the bars point about 10 degrees downward, reducing the already flat 15-degree slope to 5 degrees. Even if your hands get sweaty, they won't slide down.
I don't recommend choosing a noodle bar that's shoulder-width like most handlebars. I think a bar size wider than shoulder width is the right size for most people.
