MKS Sylvan Touring Pedals, Brass, for city bikes
Circles Special Edition MKS Brass & Black Painted Brass Pedals
This is a special edition model that Circles spent three years developing from the conceptual stage, featuring side plates made of brass for MKS's classic pedals.
Unlike alumite or electrodeposition coating, the black paint will peel off with use, revealing the brass underneath. The exposed brass will then oxidize and gradually "patina," and depending on the environment, verdigris may appear. This finish allows each user to enjoy a unique aging process.
The Raw/Lau model's side plates, finished with raw brass material, will "patina" with age, and also offer the pleasure of polishing them to create a new luster.

The Sylvan Touring features the largest tread surface in the Sylvan series and wide side plates, making it easy to adjust foot position. The differing heights of the ridges on the side plates support stable pedaling and reduced fatigue during long rides. Easy to use with double-sided entry and compatible with toe clips and straps, it's a classic model perfect for touring bikes such as randoneurs and sportifs.
The aluminum body is built around a hand-adjusted cup-and-cone bearing system, ensuring durability and smooth rotation. Maintenance can be performed using a dedicated cap wrench.
