Circles Exclusive MKS Brass & Black Painted Brass Kickstand

This is a Circles exclusive model, featuring side plates made of brass, custom-ordered from MKS's proud standard pedals.

Unlike anodizing or electrodeposition coating, black paint will peel off with use, revealing the underlying brass. The exposed brass will then oxidize and gradually tarnish, and verdigris may even appear depending on the environment. This finish allows each user to enjoy different aging effects. The side plates of the Raw model, finished with natural brass, will tarnish with age, and also offer the pleasure of polishing them to create a new luster.

The MKS Spin-2 is a custom part that attaches with a bolt to the rear of a pedal that does not have a kickstand. When pedals are equipped with toe clips and toe straps or half clips, the heavier clip side faces downward when you remove your shoe. Catching the pedal in this state and quickly inserting your shoe into the clip requires practice and skill.

By attaching this Spin-2 and pulling down by pressing the sole of your shoe against it, you can instantly flip the pedal over and easily and smoothly catch the toe clip.
