Inline S-Bend Seat Stays

Seven Cycles "pioneered" the S-bend seat stay in the late 90's after researching how to balance the two extremely important jobs of the rear back, "flexibility" and "traction". Almost all of Seven's frames are built with in-line seatstays with both bends in a single plane.

Moto 3D Seat Stays

Seven's Moto seatstays are an evolution of the S-bend seatstays for more aggressive cornering, more consistent switchback descents and superior ride feel in the worst of conditions.

Able to improve rear tire traction without compromising frame stiffness, this moto seatstay design has a more advanced profile than designs that simply bend in two places on a single plane into an S-shape. It is realized by bending and butting processing. The seat stays are dramatically shaped to handle input from multiple directions while keeping weight to a minimum.

Combined with a 1 inch chainstay, it is the optimum solution for high rigidity and shock absorption.
