Baseball cap that can be worn every day

If your style is too fashionable, you might feel embarrassed, but with a baseball cap, you can match it with any style without having to worry about that. I created an original mold using a regular 6-panel baseball cap.

Comfortable to wear even under a helmet

When thinking about wearing a helmet, one thing that always comes to mind is the thickness of the hat. The more snugly the helmet fits, the more likely it is that the hat will get loose or feel a little uncomfortable. Therefore, we omitted the core of the hat as much as possible to make it light and soft. I've tested it many times, so I'm sure it's pretty comfortable to wear.

Specifications that allow the brim to be flipped up

Many people have had the experience of having their hats suddenly blown off by a gust of wind. In case of strong winds or sunlight, it's better to be able to flip the brim of your hat up like a cycling cap while riding. That's why I designed it from a cyclist's perspective.

Draw cord back that can be easily adjusted

The perfect fit differs depending on the situation, such as when you want to raise your brim while riding, or when you want to relax in a cafe. My tension changes throughout the day, such as when I feel good wearing a tight fitting jacket and when I feel comfortable wearing a looser fitting. In such cases, we designed it to be fastened with a drawcord so that you can easily adjust the fitting of the hat.

Authentic fabric that can be used for camping and hiking

The fabric used is a thin 60/40 cloth (Rokuyon cloth) that is woven with 60% cotton and 40% nylon at high density. This material is more abrasion resistant than 100% nylon, and has excellent water repellency and breathability.

We want to make what we want, as far as we can see, with people we know and like, so for RAL products made in Japan, the manufacturing process is carried out as much as possible in the Tokai region, mainly in Aichi and Gifu prefectures. We are planning to manufacture it locally.

For this CAP, we asked an embroidery factory in Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture to do the embroidery, and a small hat workshop in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture to sew it.

The situation at manufacturing sites has changed dramatically over the past 30 years, and the number of manufacturing sites in Japan has decreased dramatically. However, in the area where we live, mainly in Gifu Prefecture, there are still clothing manufacturing sites within an hour's drive.

Bicycles are the best way to get around locally, and bike shops are very important bases that contribute to the local infrastructure, and I think they also serve as local support shops. Because we were raised in such a culture, we want to manufacture products with a local-first mentality.
