A high flange with a high flange has the characteristic that a wheel with strong lateral rigidity can be assembled. It is a shape often seen in track race hubs where lateral forces are large. The Classic High Flange Hub, also known as the Cross Classic Hub, was originally developed for cyclocross, aiming for stable cornering performance due to its high lateral rigidity and durability against muddy water. Recently, the number of rims with high rigidity, including carbon rims, has increased, so low flange hubs have become mainstream in order to reduce the weight of hubs.
*Classic hubs were discontinued in 2018. Please contact us for details, as the stock is limited by the manufacturer.

10 year warranty on headset and 5 year warranty on hub and bottom bracket.
◆Are ceramic bearings really good?
Ceramic bearings are characterized by being harder, more resistant to corrosion, and more wear-resistant than stainless steel bearings. In addition, the thermal conductivity is low, and the thermal expansion of the bearing ball due to rotation is extremely small, so it has the advantage of exhibiting high rotation performance with a small amount of lubricating oil. As for the neck, the material itself is very expensive. Consider ceramic bearings as an upgrade.
A major feature of Chris King bearings, whether stainless steel or ceramic, is that they are designed for user access and maintenance. Unlike shielded bearings, there is no need to replace them immediately when they reach the end of their service life. Please be assured that SimWorks has established an after-sales support system so that users can use high-quality Chris King products for a long time.
