After undergoing a model change from Doppo ATB, it was renamed Ronin. This frame is not a work of art, but has been updated to remain an easy-to-use tool, leading to its current form. The adoption of the original drop end and other fine detailing are all designed to make it the best tool for the rider.
The name Ronin means to wander the world without being bound by anything. We designed it to be as versatile as possible within the framework of bicycle construction, which has many rules and regulations, and to have as many options as possible for handlebar shapes and tire sizes. It can't do everything, but it can do a lot. This is what the Ronin should be as a tool.

To make it the best tool
Doppo RONIN is handmade locally in Aichi. What makes it different from other handmade bikes is that it is not a one-off.
Many handmade bikes are one-of-a-kind items tailored to the user, and are highly artistic and original. On the other hand, while the Doppo series is handmade, we also consider mass production in order to supply them at an affordable cost. Because we aim to be the "best tool" for the user, we believe that excessive artistic and originality can spoil the versatility of the tool.
On the other hand, as we planned the production simply with refined elements, there was a part where something unique emerged, and that was Dropout.
The Doppo series has a large production volume, so we can create drop ends that combine efficiency and originality, which is difficult to achieve with one-off products. This was a real inspiration. With our newly developed drop ends, we succeeded in improving manufacturing efficiency and adding a unique design to the frame.

Flexible Extension
The Ronin is an all-terrain bike with outstanding expandability and versatility. By changing the specifications, it can be flexibly adapted to both on-road and off-road such as gravel.
Tire clearance for 700C x 43mm and 650B x 55mm. Front and rear thru-axles for increased rigidity, properly positioned eyelets, and other specifications allow for customization with wider tires and fenders.
Doppo Original ATB Fork
A multipurpose chromoly fork with plenty of eyelets, specially designed for the SimWorks Doppo ATB / Ronin.
The use of disc brakes makes it convertible to 700c and 650b, and it has wide clearance for tires up to 45mm for 700c and 2.1″ for 650b.

Made with Tange tubing
The main tubing of the Doppo RONIN is made from a high-quality CrMo steel tube set manufactured by Tange, just like the Doppo LOCUST.
Good & Strong Color
The paint is made with NIC Prismatic Powder Coat from Oregon, USA. It has a glossy, deep burgundy color and the strength of powder coat.
