SIMWORKS x NANGA Sleeping Capsule

The Sleeping Capsule by SimWorks × NANGA is a sleeping bag made for people who travel by bicycle.
Designed for the mild temperatures of 45–68°F, it uses a carefully balanced amount of down and eliminates features like a hood and zipper, resulting in a total weight of just 260g. It keeps only what’s essential for rest, making it an exceptionally light and simple piece of gear.

When you travel by bike, your luggage needs to be long, slim, and easy to handle.
With that in mind, we created a dedicated stuff sack that fits directly into a bottle cage. It also mounts naturally to forks, seatposts, saddle bags, and the front triangle, and slides neatly into the narrow space of a frame bag. This sleeping bag was designed by working backward from the question: “How do we pack this on a bicycle?”

To expand its versatility even further, the Sleeping Capsule is sized to fit perfectly inside a 1L Nalgene bottle. Combined with the water‑repellent down, storing it in a Nalgene keeps it completely dry even when riding in the rain, quietly widening the freedom of your travels.

Whether you’re taking a quick nap during a long ride, traveling light with a tent or bivy, using it as a summer quilt, or resting during a low‑mountain hike or long drive, the Sleeping Capsule is a reliable companion you can stash somewhere on your bike—just in case you need it.
