MICRO SHIFT Sword Rear Derailleur 1x10 Speed

Sword is a mechanical component that combines robustness, simplicity and ease of maintenance at its core, with a modern ergonomic design that meets modern demands, a wide-range cassette that is suitable for hill climbs aiming for higher heights, and reliable operability.

The silent clutch system was redesigned from scratch based on feedback from the ADVENT series, and can be switched on and off with a simple turn of the dial featuring the SWORD logo. Turning it off during maintenance or packing makes it easier to remove and attach the rear wheel, and keeping it on while riding reduces chain flapping on gravel or over uneven surfaces.

The pulley cage is designed to be used with a single front and 11-48T rear cassette, and its wide range allows for a lower gear range while still allowing for a higher gear for increased pace on downhills. Not only that, but the pulley cage itself is replaceable, so if it is damaged, you can repair it locally or even replace it with a double front pulley cage.

The rear derailleur's parallelogram system is fitted with Igus bushings, which improves lateral rigidity and durability, making shifting crisper and more robust.

The orbital barrel adjuster can rotate 15 degrees in any direction, so it can be easily adjusted to accommodate different wire guide positions depending on the frame, allowing for wire routing with the lowest possible load on the rear derailleur.
