SHOVEL RESEARCH is a small machining factory run by Portland-based SAL that produces high-quality design products to meet niche demands in the motorcycle industry.

By attaching it to the front fork, it can fix the brake cable and allow it to operate in the proper position without interfering with the fork. It is high enough to set up wide profile cantilever brakes, provides a rigid hanger to reduce cable deformation and resistance when the headset to cable carrier distance is long, simplifies cable routing to avoid sharp bends that can cause cable chafing and unstable operation when the head tube is short, and minimizes cable chafing when using a front bag.

The cables provide stable performance over a long period of time, supporting comfortable riding.

The design features slots for weight reduction and drilled holes for aesthetics, all CNC machined in Portland Oregon.

Contents include brass adjuster, stainless steel spring, M6 bolt (3 sizes: 40mm, 50mm, 60mm), M6 Nylock nut (recess nut may be required for installation).
