Each Chris King product is made by cutting solid wood into large and small pieces, which are cylindrical and long. Chris King gathers all chips in custom tanks to recover and reuse as much of the vegetable-based oil used in cutting. In the process, he creates a dense pack of the shavings of his product.
The chips are processed in a pelletizer with approximately 200 tons of hydraulic pressure to produce packs. The strong pressing force extracts most of the oil that adheres to the shavings, and the density of the pack is extremely improved, so transportation efficiency is also improved.
Chris King began converting chips into pucks over 15 years ago. In every aspect of the manufacturing process, Chris King aims to ensure that quality materials are properly returned to the recycling loop with minimal impact on the environment.
